Mainsail Wealth Advisors is pleased to announce the promotion of Nick Shedd, CFA®, to Partner. This milestone reflects Nick’s decade-long journey with the firm - one defined by a deep commitment to our clients, a passion for continuous improvement, and an unwavering alignment with Mainsail’s values.
Nick began his career at Mainsail as an intern in 2014 before joining the firm full-time as an Associate Advisor in 2015. From the outset, he embraced our planning-first philosophy by leading with listening, developing a deep understanding of each family’s priorities, and helping them thoughtfully navigate the tradeoffs inherent in complex financial decisions. Over the years, Nick has become a trusted resource for multigenerational families, offering clear, unbiased advice grounded in what matters most to them.
In addition to his client-focused work, Nick has been instrumental in advancing the firm’s investment sophistication. After earning the rigorous Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation in 2021, he was promoted to Director of Portfolio Management. In this role, Nick led the refinement of Mainsail’s discretionary asset management platform - strengthening the Investment Committee and enhancing existing strategies to bring institutional-grade innovation to our personal, boutique client experience.
